用法辨析
- describe的基本意思是“描寫”,特指用語言文字描述,多是生動(dòng)地、具體地,力圖將所敘述的內(nèi)容像圖片般栩栩如生地呈現(xiàn)在他人面前,不僅給人以視覺印象,而且使其他感官也產(chǎn)生共鳴。describe還可表示“畫出(圖形等)”。
- describe是及物動(dòng)詞,接名詞、代詞、動(dòng)名詞或疑問詞從句作賓語。
- describe不用于describe sb sth 結(jié)構(gòu),如表示“向…描述”,須借助于介詞to。
- describe的賓語后常接以as短語充當(dāng)補(bǔ)足語的復(fù)合賓語,表示“把…描述為”“認(rèn)為…”, as后面可接名詞、形容詞或現(xiàn)在分詞、過去分詞。as極少改為to be。
