1. N-COUNT If someone has a lisp, they pronounce the sounds "s" and "z" as if they were "th." For example, they say "thing" instead of "sing." 咬舌[usu sing]
He has a slight lisp. 他說(shuō)話有點(diǎn)咬舌。
2. V-T/V-I If someone lisps, they say something with a lisp or speak with a lisp. 咬著舌說(shuō)
The little man, upset, was lisping badly. 那個(gè)矮小的男人,很生氣,說(shuō)話咬舌咬得厲害。
Bochmann lisped his congratulations. 博克曼口齒不清地表示祝賀。
