OBJECTIVE: We sought to study the clinical behavior and treatment outcome of isolated sphenoid sinusitis (ISS).

RESULTS: Of 170 patients, 2 (1.17%) developed infectious complications: 1 case of meningitis by Staphylococcus epidermidis and 1 case of sphenoid sinusitis (without microbiological diagnosis).
結(jié)果∶170位患者中，2例（1.17%）發(fā)生感染性并發(fā)癥∶1例表皮葡萄球菌性腦膜炎，1例蝶竇炎（沒(méi)有病源微生物學(xué)診斷）。
