mistake與mistaken用法區(qū)別
一、mistake的用法
1. 表示“錯誤”,通常爲可數(shù)名詞;表示犯錯誤,通常用動詞 make;另外注意與介詞常用搭配。如:
You made a mistake about the time. 你弄錯了時間。
She made a mistake over the bill. 她把賬算錯了。
Don’t make any mistake about me. 不要誤解我的意思。
用於by mistake, 意爲“錯誤地”“弄錯地”。如:
The nurse gave me the wrong medicine by mistake. 護士給我喫錯了葯。
I’m sorry, I opened one of your letters by mistake. 對不起,我錯拆了你的一封信。
2. 用作動詞,表示“把……誤認爲是……”,一般用介詞 for。如:
She mistook a rope for a snake. 她把一條繩子誤認爲蛇。
I had mistaken friendship for love. 我誤把友情儅成了愛情。
二、mistaken的用法
1. 表示某人的誤會、誤解或弄錯等,通常用作表語。如:
It appears to me that you are all mistaken. 我看你們都錯了。
表示“在……方麪弄錯”,其後通常接介詞about。如:
He is mistaken about her. 他誤會她了。
He may have been mistaken about what he saw. 他可能看錯了。
有時後接in doing sth,表示“錯誤地……”。如:
You are mistaken in thinking that they will help you. 你要是認爲他們會幫助你,那你就錯了。
要加強語氣,除可用very, very much, quite, seriously等脩飾外,還可用sadly脩飾。如:
If you think I’m going to help, you’re sadly mistaken. 如果你認爲我會幫忙,那你就完全錯了。
2. 表示錯誤的行爲、想法或犯錯誤的人等,多用作定語。如:
That’s a mistaken idea. 那是個錯誤的想法。
A mistaken person should admit his error. 一個犯錯誤的人應該要承認錯誤。
I helped him in the mistaken belief that he needed me. 我誤以爲他需要我所以去幫助他了。
