- lastly的用法與firstly基本一致,但lastly常表示“末了”,可以在上文沒有用到Firstly,Secondly,Thirdly等詞時使用Lastly去表示最終要表述的點(diǎn);
- last一般用完成時有時也用過去完成時還與介詞連用,如at;
- last有最近過去的意思後可接week,month,Monday等,但不可以接morning等詞,如last morning應(yīng)用yesterday morning來表示;
- at last的使用較at the last來的普遍,與其同義的短語有at long last和at the long last,衹是它們的程度更深一點(diǎn),有“雖然經(jīng)過了長時期”的含義。 At (the) last, I have to repeat my advice. 這樣是不可以說的,應(yīng)改At (the) last爲(wèi)Finally或Lastly。
The supply will last five days.
