常見雙謂語錯誤句型
英語中一個簡單句只能出現(xiàn)一個謂語動詞,因為謂語必須由動詞擔任,但動詞不一定作謂語,不少同學因受漢語習慣影響將非謂語動詞作謂語使用,造成雙謂語錯誤句型。常見雙謂語錯誤句型誤用句型如下:
一、誤用定語性動作作謂語
例 站在那兒的學生來自北京。
(誤) The student stood there came from Beijing.
(正)The student standing there came from Beijing.
(正)The student who stood there came from Beijing.
析:“站在那兒”屬定語性動作,修飾名詞“學生”,因此屬誤用。
二、誤用賓語性動作作謂語
不少同學不能根據(jù)謂語成分成立條件,誤用謂語動詞表達賓語性動作,造成雙謂語錯誤句型。
例 她說她將明確拒絕給予他幫助。
(誤)She said she would refuse clearly help him.
(正)She said she would refuse clearly to help him.
析:“幫助他” 屬賓語性動作,不能作謂語動詞help him表達,應用不定式to help him表達。
三、誤用表語性動作作謂語
例 我的人生目標是在一切領域取得成績。
(誤)My life aim is make achievements in everything.
(正)My life aim is to make / making achievements in everything.
析:“在一切領域取得成績”屬表語性動作,不能用謂語動詞make achievements in everything表達,應用動詞不定式to make achievements in everything或動名詞making achievements in everything表達。
四、誤用狀語性動作作謂語
例 他手里拿著一本書走進教室。
(誤)He came into the room, held a book in his hand.
(正)He came into the room, holding a book in his hand.
析:“手里拿著一本書”屬伴隨狀語,因此不能用謂語動詞held表達,應用現(xiàn)在分詞holding表達。
五、“有……人做某事”句型的誤用
表“有……人做某事”時,不少學生沒有考慮到“做某事”已為謂語動詞,又使用there be句型,造成雙謂語錯誤句型。
例 今天有二十個學生遲到。
(誤)There are twenty students are late today.
(正)Twenty students are late today.
(正)There are twenty students who are late today.
析:“有”與“遲到”均屬動詞,不能同時使用。
